soo.... we are not sending out Christmas cards this year, but we did still get Christmas card pictures taken. Any excuse I can get for picture taking right? 

I did still want to take the time to write out a "Christmas card letter" or mainly just our Highlights of our year. My mom sent one out every year to update about our family and I think its a great way to document and sum up our year. And this was a pretty great year. 

2016 highlights

january: we got married in the salt lake temple!!! moved into a one room studio apartment. (prison cell) Erin got the car towed.. lost her $2,000 scholarship and Landon rear ended a car and got a ticket. yay to a first great month of marriage! Erin got called into the Relief Society presidency.

february: FAFSA kicked in and saved our hinnies, hallelujah. Our first valentine's day together including dinner at Applebees (thank you wedding gift cards) and homemade chocolate covered strawberries.
march: Landon flew to Arizona for a week for work leaving Erin alone for the first time.

april: Welcomed a new brother to the family with  the marriage of Amber and Kevin! Landon changed his major to Biology. Moved into a 2 bedroom apartment, BOOYAH!

may: we started trying for a baby and ..got PREGNANT!

june: we hit our 1 year home from the mission mark.

july: Kylee and David got married! (best friend)

august: had ourselves yet another 2 more weddings for our family this year. Whitney and Cody, and Sabrina and JD

september: we announced our pregnancy to the world. Erin graduated from Evans Hairstyling College and started really picking up on her photography

october: found out we were having a little baby girl! Landon turned 22. Erin babysat while parents went to Peru without her... 

november: We hosted our first thanksgiving in our tinny apartment for the whole welch side. Erin bought a new camera and Mac book $$$$

december: Landon changed his major to accounting. Erin turned 22. spent Christmas in Elko with the Nielsen side.  Erin entered her 3rd Trimester!


We had a GREAT first year of marriage together and we are so excited for 2017 and the new addition to our happy little family!
